Amunt ses panades!

Ja torn a ser per aquí amb una creació de principis de mes; un coixí/peluix en forma de panada! Les panades són unes pastes tradicionals de Mallorca que estan fetes de carn o carn i xítxeros. S'elaboren durant la Setmana Santa juntament amb altres pastes dolces (rubiols i crespells).

I'm back with an old creation I did by the beginning of the month; it's a pillow/plushie gift that represents a panada. Panades are a kind of pastry typical from Mallorca with meat or meat and peas inside. They are made for Easter along with other sweet pastries. Please, panades are made in Mallorca only (or in the Balearic Islands, I'm not sure), there are other similar pastries around the world that may have the same name, but not the meaning, don't get wrong about that. 

Algú segur que reconeix el disseny: està basat en una camiseta de Melicotó i als responsable els va encantar la representació en feltre de la camiseta, fins i tot en varen fer un montatge amb el text!
